ah! hello there. today's a tuesday. which means it's upper room day! elyse, sam, jiayi and i went to church after school and prayed. once again, it was so powerful and the presence of god was so thick. we were all crying. and wow. jiayi's vision about the holy spirit coming down and touching each one of us and each part of us is just amazing. the holy spirit is going to move in our lives and everyone's going to breakthrough. (: real cool. and god spoke to me and it encouraged me tremendously. i now feel so much more strength to carry on with this exam stuff.
i didn't bring my camera for longest day because i guessed the pictures would turn out disgusting and all blurry. so i stole pictures from people here and there. now, here's a few to entertain you.

i got booked again today!! oh, what joy. okok. i'm not depressed or anything. i find it so funny actually. mgs really has hilarious rules. when i told izzy that i got booked for going down for recess too early, she was like, "is that wrong?". and vjc is too slack, yes? anyway. charm, jolene, dan and i were at the canteen. reason being recess was at eleven thirty five! that's so late. i've never had such a late recess before. my stomach was rumbling and growling. and i had to satisfy it. so i encouraged them to come down with me at ten thirty five. heh. as we got out of class, we met miss ho. so we sat down at the benches and pretended to talk about maths when she walked past. lol. when she was gone, we went down. we ate. blahblah. and just as we were about to leaveeeeeeee, i looked up and saw mrs chen staring down at the canteen spying on sec fours who sneaked out of class. like us. i told the three of them, and charm and danielle started running away! but jolene and i, being students filled with honesty and integrity stayed behind. actually no, that wasn't the real reason. she hadn't finished her cookie and i still had half of my drink. haha. mrs chen signalled to us to come up and meet her. so up we went. jolene stuck her cookie in her pocket and i threw away my drink!! it was ribena. ): yes. the rest of the story is rather dull. just that we got booked! i pretty enjoyed the whole experience. it made me laugh.

this is nat's extremely cute nephew. he's so adorable. and he likes me too! his name is ashton. he's named after (yes, you guessed it) ashton kutcher. lol. the next kid is going to be called jessica. jessica simpson. haha.
and this is me and sam. being retarded again. and as you can see, sam is tiptoeing here. because normally, she's about one foot shorter than me. (cheesy grin)

MY FINGERS ARE BURNING!! i was cooking dinner with my mum. and preparing the fish. so i stuck chilli into the fish sides. and i think i was holding onto the chillies for too long a time. now they're burning like crazy! save me! i've got fire fingers. lol. my mummy says putting them into rice will help. so i'm carrying the rice bowl everywhere around the house now. i feel kinda like captain hook. but more like, urm. captain rice bowl.
i love imagining myself in god's hands. all my cares and concerns are gone when i think about that. god's hands are surrounding me, what can go wrong? really, faith is believing that god's not going to drop you. he's not going to let you slip through his hands like that. and when you think about it like that, faith is so easy to have!

have i ever told you about how much i really love my niece, jewel? i probably did before. but let me tell you again. she's so cute. and she's twelve years younger than me. she just picked up singlish and it's adorable. singlish can be in a awful phua chu kang way and in a oh-so-cute jewel way! today, my aunt asked her about her food. and she said "it's not bad lah". haha. and there's this thing about her that i remember i had when i was young. when there is something in the bowl that is disgusting, she won't eat her whole meal at all. today, she discovered a mushroom in her salad. and she forsook it.

among all the pictures that jiayi (i'm getting so sick of plugging her) sent me via gmail, i have to say that this is my ultimate favourite. although the one of me sniffing the flowers and looking scary pretty much describes the total yolanda lai, and the shortaye and tallaye one is one of the few yo-dawn pictures that turn out ok, this is still the bestest. prolly cause i'm not the shortest in that picture. nono, can't be too mean. the two of us are really the same height. (: davis got in too. lol.
she'll kill me for blogging about this. but. it's just for laughs! my most smartest and brillantest and cleverest big sister, yvette, made such a silly but funny mistake today. she pops her head out of the kitchen showing me her pot. inside her pot, there's a an opened packet of uncooked maggi mee*. without any water. and she says, "so, is this how you make it?" i start rolling on the floor laughing. well, almost. i was tempted to roll, but the floor's too icky. i end up ordering her to get rid of the noodles and put water in the pot. after a while, when the water boils, i put in the noodles for her. and she says, "that's like normal maggi mee what!" LOL. yes dear sister, it was normal maggi mee. haha. that one ah. study too much already.
i had such a horrible dream last night about tomorrow. i dreamt that i was totally unprepared for bio and geog. i started slamming my tables and chairs. and i was yelling at the top of my voice. and i remember one point when i was pulling esther's ponytail. heh. miss ho called woodbridge. they came, and put me in those awful white jackets that have no space for arms. boy, i got to go mug.
