More and more I need You now
I owe You more each passing hour
Battles between grace and pride
I gave up not so long ago
So steal my heart and take the pain
And wash the feet and cleanse my pride
Take the selfish, take the weak
And all the things I cannot hide
Take the beauty, take my tears
My sin-soaked heart, make it Yours
Take my world all apart

Worlds apart- Jars of Clay. A song that depicts what I want to say to God. Seriously. I have learnt that I can't live without Him in my life. Without Him, my life is so messy. So many problems arise and I'm all stressed up thinking up solutions to them. But with Him, miracles happen, mountains move and everything's in His hands. But at the same time, I don't want to get all proud and stuck-up because mountains really do start moving and miracles happen. It's never about me. It's about Him. He's my reason to live.

When I try McDonald's fries, and I think it's nice, I'll tell you to try it. I'll persuade you not to eat Long John's anymore. Why would I leave you eating something that isn't the best?

Aiyah. My stomach growling like crazy. \: But there's not a thing to eat in the house! Well, at least not yummy enough. All like can throw to next door one. I still have Chinese New Year goodies. Hee hee. It must have grown mould or something. I discovered that day that mould doesn't taste as bad as everyone thinks! I ate mouldy bakkwa last week. Hunger makes you desperate. :D

All those contact lenses stories they have been showing on the news and featuring in newspapers have been somewhat scary. They have definitely affected the trust which my contact lenses took quite a long time to gain from me. Now, every time I feel my eye get dry, I yawn and squeeze some tears out. This is extremely tiresome. Couldn't the newscasters find something else to report about? It's making all contact lenses wearers contact lenses conscious. Goodness.

We had CG today which was great. I wish my dear Sway was there. (If you're reading this, feel sad.) Haha. Just kidding. Anyway, it was about not losing our vision and keeping the dream alive!

When I made up my mind
And my heart along with that
To live not for myself
But yet for God
Somebody said
Do you know what you are getting yourself into?
When I finally ironed out
All of my priorities
And asked God to remove the doubt
That makes me so unsure of these
Things I ask myself
I ask myself,
"Do you know what you are getting yourself into?"

I'm getting into You
Because You got to me
In a way words can't describe
I'm getting into You
Because I've got to be
You're essential to survive
I'm going to love You with my life

What a beautiful song. Sway sent it to me that day when I was asking around for songs. And this one made me so touched. Go download it or something. It's called Getting into You- Relient K.

If you are an avid Blog Reader, you would have noticed my sudden use of capital letters. My sister has taughter me to appreciate the uglyness of capital letters. Now look. It's pretty cool, huh?

By the way, Dominic's birthday celebration was yesterday! And I'm going to say a BIG thank you to all the backdrop and deco people! Thank you Jieru, Darrell, Dale, Crystal, Calvin, Boris, Joyce, Liane, Nicholas, Pollyna and Flea. Special thanks to Xin and Dex who helped out even though they weren't in the team! And, the biggest thank you for Jamie for supervising us. (: Good job everyone. We shall all go and see a real Hong Kong street one day.

Dawn has got to be the sillyest friend I have, although she thinks that Jiayi and I are sillyer. Haha. See? This is proof of her sillyness.

Say hello to my number nineteen. It's happy to see you as well. I'm happy to see it. Waaaaayy happy. It's definitely god. Cannot be anything else.

Last night, or rather, this morning, was a nice morning. Haha. I was at Cineleisure with Jamie, Linda and Dale. We were supporting my wonderful son, Lucius who was trying out for Singapore Idol. Ah, I always knew I had a singing gene in me. It just wasn't displayed. But it came out in my son! Lol. Sitting in Long John's at three am is just weird. But we had so much fun. Sleeping, reading, disturbing, and dreaming. Dreaming. I was dreaming. I was dreaming of this delicious ice cream that Jamie and I got a sample of on the second floor. It was so tasty. But it was also three bucks and fifty cents. One day, I'l buy it over. (:

Then I got home at four am? And I talked and talked and talked to my sister all the way up to eight am. We discussed JCs and polys and other random stuff! Haha. Thanks Big. It is nice to have a sister. And I won't trade you in for anything.

That's my Grandaunt and my Grandma. That's me and my sister in sixty years time.

Like i said, retarded. Haha. (:

I might not be as rich this year compared to last year's CNY. But I sure enjoyed myself this year. It was so much cooler. And I didn't feel the I'm-wasting-my-time feeling. I loved it. I made a thousand new friends. And they're all so nice and friendly. And most of all, the p-word!!

Due to my allergy to tai tee, my sister taught me bridge. And it's addictive. So, if you're one of the very very few people who know how to play bridge, you got to look for me okay!! I can be your bridge khaki. (: You'll love me. Then again, you'll love me even if I wasn't your bridge khaki. Hee hee.
